Description
This entire area is rated aMTB1 and most adaptive riders will be good to go solo. WIth the out and back on Madrona and Chehalem Ridge, you end up with significant mileage. Great views and worth the trip out!
Staging
Parking lot is flat and paved with accessible parking and running water bathrooms.
Potential Issues
There are some tight turns on Woodland Trail and Madrona that may require a rear wheel slide or multi point turn.
Madrona and the top of Mapal Trail were severely overgrown at the time of this blog. The impact is there, but sight line is greatly shortened.

Castor Trail (aMTB1) - Crushed aggregate surface. Plenty wide. Links Woodland Trail and Timber Road
Chehalem Ridge (aMTB1) - MTB optimized. Dirt Surface. Plenty wide.
Madrona (aMTB1) - MTB optimized. Dirt surface. Overgrown in the Spring, but impact is there. Plenty wide. Flow section has some tight turns. Links to road which links to loop at the bottom and requires a climb back up same route.
Mapal Trail (aMTB1) - Crushed aggregate surface. Plenty wide. Lookout at the top.
Timber Road (aMTB1) - Fire road through the middle
Witches Butter Trail (aMTB1) - Crushed aggregate surface. Plenty wide. View of Mount Saint Helens and Mount Rainier at the top.
Woodland Trail (aMTB1) - Crushed aggregate surface. Plenty wide. Some tight turns.
Zorzal (aMTB1) - Crushed aggregate surface. Plenty wide. Short loop off of Maple.
